Rapier Wit

Sitting in a class that I am completely bored with. I searched Google for a blog aptly named rapier wit, but only found disappointment. I did find a random blog about Ryan and Shannon blah, blah, blah and how impersonal their life is. I could get right on the blog find names, dates and locations of these people. Why do people throw their life online for everyone to see; outrageous. Blogs give everyone the ability to publish themselves, and that is a problem. I just think it is comical. People have no idea why their personal information is compromised or how someone could possibly have stolen their credit card. " No I haven't been to Brazil! I did however buy credits for some new trees in Farmville." Rule #1: Don't be stupid; just don't be dumb. You tell everyone it was Farmville, but it really was porn. Let's be honest, shebangs.com was not a good move on your part.

Ryan Says..........

Go to the Cocobean and get a cupcake and a Roasted Coco Drink. Absolute perfection. One in Rexburg Idaho and one in Orem Utah. If you are in the area, go get one. Your life will change forever.....

The Greatest Freak Out Ever

I stumbled upon a very interesting video on Youtube. Here I am, supposed to be studying for my economics exam and I am wasting my time - like 12 million other people - watching a video of a kid "freaking out". At first, I found it rather amusing. Especially when he gives himself the remote enema (you will just have to watch the video). Whether or not the video is real is inconsequential. The real question is the underlying psychological implications of the video. The kid is obviously deranged. Amazing to see what an over stimulated, sugarholic teenager can become. Video game addiction is serious. Saying it was an overreaction is an understatement. The kid really does, by definition, freak out. It is unlike anything I have ever seen. The kid is absolutely devastated because he no longer can play his computer game. At first, amusing; rather comical. Then I started looking into the background of this child. I found the subscription page of the brother who had been publishing the videos. Tons of videos showing the freak out kid. The brother recording the videos was actually provoking the freak out kid to freak out. His parents weren't much help either. Not only were they very vocal, but they lacked discipline and threatened him when he was misbehaving. After four or five videos, the amusement wore off. I felt sorry for the kid. Bad parenting had once again reared its ugly head. What a travesty. Not to say the kid wasn't responsible for his actions; he was. He was pushed in an unhealthy direction. Kind of makes me worry about the future generation. How are we going to deal with people that are not well adjusted? It becomes a little more serious when he acts on his empty threats and hurts someone. Maybe then someone will take notice. From my experience, some people never learn. Chances are, he won't. My advice: quit having children! Quit perpetuating this gene pool! Purge the world of Idiocracy!

Swine flu: the new black plague? People are rushing to receive a vaccination that may or may not been tested safe. There are many standing against it in fact. Oh well, raise the hype and people come rushing. It sounds like some viral marketing to me; literally. Who makes money off the vaccine? If everyone needs one, that's a lot of vaccine. A lot of vaccine = money. Monetary gain is the all mighty motivator. That's why we don't have better health care in America. Healthy people do not create profit. Maybe that is why America asks for everybody's sick and poor: to make more money. Well, if I can't get a flu shot what are my alternatives? Take it or else!!!!! Not really. Many argue there are other ways. Miracle drugs? Super expensive mutant treatments? Nope; vitamin D. We always thought we got sick in the winter because it was the cold. The real reason is we don't get enough vitamin D. Our greatest source of vitamin D is the sun. In the winter there is less sun, so we get less vitamin D. The best way to get it is the sun, but if the sun isn't cutting it, supplement it. Any health food store is going to carry it, so take it. First it's swine flu, then it's some kid in a balloon.

    Obsession

Tonight's entry will be short, due to some unforeseen fatigue. Network marketing; great idea. Produce jobs and money for people ready for a challenge. But how many people want to pay the price? How many are going to work past the 25 dollars a month and mounds of useless products to actually produce results? Most see "ponzi" scheme. Well marketed, a networked product can work well. Well, you ask, what would work well? Obviously, people aren't going to buy a drink that you claim will make them several years younger; unless that's what they want - or what you convinced them they want. I don't think it is necessarily in a person's best interest to turn their back to a good idea. This entry will hopefully begin my month long experimentation of network marketing. I have chosen insurance to market through a company called to Primerica. We all need life insurance, right? We are all going to die....... best to be safe than sorry.

The time is now to change. We change because we have to, not because we want to. Be the one that changes because you want to.

    The beginning

10 things I want to accomplish with this blog:

    1. Create diversity

    2. Outward thinking

    3. Coin terms and phrases

    4. Produce 1000 hits a day

    5. Destroy mediocrity

    6. Prevent ignorance

    7. Create timeless material

    8. Black ball the unimaginative

    9. Create new beginnings

    10. Educate

Smart people have ideas; ideas that need to be shared to the masses. I can't begin to say I am smart, but I have some ideas. Don't let the dashboard fool you, this blog isn't about nothing, but about everything. People come here to learn and to grow. What is on your mind? What do you need to learn?

Now to leave you with some knowledge:

Critics feel as if they have a right to sit in judgment of others. They don't; and many rarely do. Qualifications for being a "professional" are arbitrary at best. Master a craft by your own means, your own path, and let others do the same. There is never one way to something. There are several variations and paths leading to the same destination.
